Our Chamber is dedicated citizens and businesses volunteering
their time and/or money for improvinement through leadership and commitment.
Join us in bringing new ideas and new visions to our
two towns to unite family and community.
The Overton-New London Chamber of Commerce consists of business
and individual members in this East Texas area. Our mission is to provide a forum for our members and information
to interested individuals and businesses about the many wonderful attributes, attractions, events, and characteristics of
our communities. The Chamber provides three annual scholarships to area graduating students.
We participate in local events that serve the community,
such as "National Night Out," National Day of Prayer," and the Chamber Banquet that honors outstanding citizens, organizations,
and teachers from our area. The "Stars and Stripes Fourth of July Celebration" gives residents a day long opportunity
to remember our nation's freedom. We join One Nation under God to present the "Hero's Festival" in honor
of those first responders who kept our nation going after 9/11, our service men and woman, as well as police and fire departments.
"Fall Fest" offers a safe environment for children who play games for treats, not tricks! The Christmas Parade draws
participants from all over who march along the main street heralding the upcoming Christmas season, and the reknown Kilgore
Rangerettes provide a fantastic performance in front of the Chamber office.
New events are always in the works to further offer everyone
an opportunity to enjoy our fine city.
